Stikwood: How long have you been in business as an interior designer?

Granville Homes: Our in-house design experts have been with Granville Homes for almost 10 years! Every home features selections carefully chosen by our design experts. From flooring and cabinets to light fixtures and paint color, our designers strive to create a harmonious living space with style that is both contemporary and timeless.

Stikwood: Tell us a bit about your business and experience:

Granville Homes: At Granville, building homes has been our legacy. But what is most important to us is why we build: We want to deliver the best quality of life possible to residents of the Central Valley. It is our hope that we can make this area a better place to live, work and play.

We have been in business for over 44 years and have built over 6,000 homes in the Central Valley. But what gives us an immense sense of fulfillment is knowing we are contributing to the improvement of schools, building healthier communities and helping to generate social awareness.

We offer homes for every lifestyle ranging from our Canvas Collection, to our Traditional line of homes, and finally our Semi-Custom Estates line. Our incredible design experts not only stage and design all of our model homes, but they get the pleasure of meeting with each and every homebuyer to design their dream home!

Stikwood: We love how you incorporate personality into the rooms you design. Tell us how Stikwood helps you achieve that.

Granville Homes: We have found that Stikwood adds extra dimension and texture to a room. It gives a space a bit more visual interest by transforming a plain wall into something aesthetically pleasing – a true work of art. Stikwood: What would you say is your “signature style”?

Granville Homes: Our signature style is something that must appeal to the masses. When designing model homes, our designers keep our wide variety of home buyers top of mind. For this reason, our style is affordable, comfortable, and minimal to allow a range of buyers to envision their family in one of our homes.

Stikwood: What was your favorite project using Stikwood products? What made it so special?

Granville Homes: Our favorite project was designing our Aria model home. This home has multiple locations showcasing the “Reclaimed Weathered Wood” product. The Stikwood adds dimension, texture and warmth to the home and provides a bold accent, without being overpowering.

Stikwood: What is your best piece of advice to offer someone who wants to redecorate a room on their own?

Granville Homes: Remember, the space is yours, so stick with textures and colors that make you happy! Everyone has the ability to design their own home because your style is the only one that matters! Do your research to find the latest trends that you love but put your personal spin on the space. Your home is where you spend the majority of your time, so it should be something that reflects you.
