Rustic Slate is a soft gray finish that compliments the warm grain patterns of the reclaimed douglas fir nicely to create a nice balance of modern and nature. Each plank's character comes from the visible grain, but also the knots and nail holes left from the wood previous life prior to it being reclaimed. Rustic Slate can add coolness to a space or it can warm it up depending on your decor which makes it incredibly versatile. Plus, each plank comes with adhesive strips making installation quick and easy.

Great quality and easy installation

This was the second time we used Stik Wood for a home improvement project and we were again very happy with the results. We created headboards for two beds, each one taking about 2 hours and they both look great! Thanks for an excellent product!

New accent wall

We opted for the 4 foot sections on this accent wall and had to build out the structural wall to accommodate the fireplace. Very happy with the finished project and wood was smooth install.

One advisement

The sticky strips are sticky. They hold on a painted/clean surface well. This product has holes through the wood. You can see the wall behind the product when applied. Have a uniform color on the wall before install.

Hi Cory - thanks for the good, informative review. If you are installing on a white wall, many people will use a black or brown sharpie to trace around the board hiding any gap from showing white - the same thing can be done on any nail holes, just color them in. It works great.

looks great and easy to do

love the look, the only thing I don't like is that the wood smells bad from the chemical treatment, our bed room has to air out for a month before the smell is gone. otherwise, the wood is easy to work with and it looks great.

Looks great on the diagonal

The boards added a nice, softer atmosphere to the cardio area of the gym. There are a few knots and chunks missing but since they look reclaimed that's not a problem. Very easy to install.

Great product, product support could be better

The product is good, no issues with delivery. I contacted customer service about tips on how we could cope with gaps where you see the wall behind and I did not receive any help.
