Sweet little project.

Wood was beautiful and even smelled good. I came up with the wrong square footage and had to order two shipments. Little tricky to cut without a miter box, but I mastered the miter saw about had way through the project. Only ruined one board which I felt was pretty good. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

The products we ordered worked great. I had a slight issue with delivery but was more than impressed with the way Stikwood handled it. Overall, I could not be more satisfied with both the products I ordered and the customer service I received. I am a Stikwood customer for life.

Did the Job well

Q: Could I use this on an interior door?

Q: Will this stick to textured ceilings?

A: Hi Charlotte,

It really depends on how textured. Anything with deep grooves and valleys like popcorn texture is not advised as the adhesive will not have enough surface area to bond too. Please reach out to support@stikwood and send a photo of your texture and we would be happy to take a look and better advise.

Q: can this be stained?

A: The only Stikwood products that can be painted or stained are the Naturally Reclaimed Wood products. That includes Reclaimed Weathered Wood, Reclaimed Weathered Wood White, Reclaimed Weathered Wood Gray, Reclaimed Barrel Oak, and Sierra Silver. If you choose to stain one of these products, make sure you do it before you put it up on the wall, and give plenty of time for the stain to completely dry. I suggest at least 48-72 hours. It may also be helpful to get a moisture meter, and check the moisture level of the Stikwood before you install it on the wall after staining it. If there is more than 8% moisture, we do not advise installing the Stikwood. Give it another day or so to dry and try again. Moisture meters can be purchased here: stikwood.com/collections/accessories#listing
The Sustainable and Heartwood materials cannot be painted or stained, as they have an oil or eco coat finish on them already.

Q: Can it be used on steps

A: Stikwood is often used on the riser portion of stairs, but isn't suitable for the tread (step) area. Stikwood is meant for walls and ceilings.
