I don’t know about you, but I’m still a big fan of wood paneling. I think when complemented by the right decor, it can totally work for a space. What are your feelings on it? Recently, I stuck wood to the walls and ceiling to create a completely new vibe for what was once a basement storage room…☝🏼 Thanks to stikwooddesign, I now have a tranquil, cozy cottage meets Scandi bedroom space for guests (mainly my parents) to sleep in when they come out to visit! The stikwooddesign product I chose for this project is called “Hamptons,” and I love that it’s real wood (sliced thin, so it’s not heavy at all!). The wood has a uniform look while still offering a bit of creamy white tonal variety from piece to piece. I installed it vertically up the main wall of this room to give the illusion of height, and then I matched the ends where the wall and ceiling connect and continued those lines outward over the whole room to make it feel longer. Now that our master bathroom is under way, I’m thinking maybe I should order more of this to apply to the vaulted ceiling!
